'Dry Rot' by John Chapman Three likeable, but rather untrustworthy bookies, Alf Tubbe, Flash Harry and Fred Phipps plan to rig a horse race by kidnapping the fancied horse and its French jockey. They stay at a country house hotel near the racecourse, run by Colonel Wagstaff and his wife where they conceal the horse (and later the jockey) in a hidden cellar. Secret rooms, mistaken identity and a nice little bit of romance are some of the main ingredients of this hilariously funny farce by John Chapman Performances run from Wednesday the 16th May through to Saturday the 19th May at 7.30pm nightly at the Seckford Theatre in Woodbridge. Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £8 for concessions. |
