Daughters of Venice by Don Taylor
15th May 2013 - 18th May 2013
Set in 18th century Venice, the comedy follows the fortunes of
three twenty year old girls as they decide how to make it through
in the world.
The daughters of the title are the orphans taken in and cared for
by the 'Sisters of the Convent of the Pietà'. With colourful
characters such as the eccentric Vivaldi, the English Milord and
his servant Bodger, and the revelry of the Venice Carnival, masks
and mystery lead to mistaken identity, mischief and a marriage proposal!
The fates of the daughters are decided.
Daughters of Venice runs from Wed 15th May until Sat 18th May at
7.30pm each night at the Seckford Theatre in Woodbridge.
